Hoi An has a great food scene. So many selections, so little time. Two places we highly recommend are Nu Eatery and Streets. Nu eatery had killer appetizers and desserts with solid mains. Streets was a great restaurant dedicated to helping at risk youth. We can honestly say the service we had at Streets was world class, and the food was excellent. The entire place was run by kids in training! Food from street vendors was also delicious!
If you come to Hoi An - eating will not be an issue!
If you get to Hoi An you need to go to Streets. It’s a restaurant that helps at risk youth. Kids work in a variety of roles at the restaurant, and then after training get jobs in top restaurants. Wonderful place.
Theses shrimp appetizers were delicious.
These dumplings were amazing. First time I’ve seen dumplings made with rice wrappers.
Barbecued pork ribs, sticky rice and veggies. Fall off the bone good.
Fresh selection of veggies and sliced pork.
A coffee and chocolate flan. Best we have ever had.
Who can resist a banana pancake drizzled with chocolate from a cowboy none the less!
These were killer little buns. Steamed bun, spicy mayo on bbq pork belly with a fresh pickled cucumber slice. You will see those as one of our offerings in the backyard soon.
Chili lime shrimp with corn salsa and cilantro on shrimp chips. Really good.
Vietnamese bolognese with pork rinds and fresh greens. In the back is a sesame chicken with udon noodles.
Banana pie with chocolate. Sorry - we forgot to take the picture until we had a bite. Looked so good we dove right in!
Yeah, Hoi An had good food around every corner....
