We arrived at Mammoth Cave National Park on a cold dreary day. No big
deal though because we were touring the caves. As for the rest of the
park, there really was not a lot to do since the weather was so dreary.
One of the great things about being retired and visiting a national
park at this time of year is that there are not a lot of visitors, go
figure. We had a great cave tour with a very knowledgeable ranger in a
small group setting.
Ok - I'm using some park service photos because an iPhone photo does not do the cave justice.
